U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations - Detroit Field Office will be hosting the 7th Annual Trade Day at COBO Center on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Registration table will be open starting at 7:30 a.m. with hall doors opening at 7:30 a.m. Opening ceremony shall begin at 8:00 a.m.

This free event shall provide the trade community and those interested in the importing/exporting process an opportunity to interact with CBP personnel, Detroit Field Office trade staff, Canadian Government Officials, and a multitude of representatives from Partner Government Agencies (PGA). Trade Day 2018 will provide participants with the opportunity to communicate one-on-one with government representatives who are responsible for enforcing various trade laws while still processing/facilitating trade.

In addition, formal presentations and demonstrations shall be given continuously throughout the day providing information on current programs and policies relating to the import and export of merchandise.
